Parameters
• tlv—Specifies the TLVs to be included. Available optional TLVs are: port-
desc, sys-name, sys-desc, sys-cap, 802.3-mac-phy, 802.3-lag, 802.3-max-
frame-size.
•
none—Clear all optional TLVs from the interface.
If the 802.1 protocol is selected, see the command below.
Default Configuration
The following TLV are transmitted:
• sys-name
• sys-cap
Command Mode
Interface (Ethernet) Configuration mode
Example
The following example specifies that the port description TLV is transmitted
on gi0/2.
console(config)# interface gi0/2
console(config-if)# lldp optional-tlv port-desc
lldp optional-tlv 802.1
Use the lldp optional-tlv 802.1 Interface (Ethernet) Configuration mode
command to specify whether to transmit the 802.1 TLV. Use the no form of
this command to revert to the default setting.
Syntax
lldp optional-tlv 802.1 pvid
{enable | disable}
- The PVID is advertised or
not advertised.
no lldp optional-tlv 802.1 pvid - The PVID advertise state is returned to
default.
