This ‘read-only’ status window indicates if the modem is Resolved, Duplex, Speed, or Not
Resolved

Status

Description

Resolved -or-
Not Resolved

Displays whether Duplex and Speed has been Resolved or Not
Resolved.

Note:

If GBEI Tx or Rx is Off, this is always blank.

Duplex

This is only valid if Resolved.

Speed

This is only valid if Resolved.

Note: When the unit is in Remote mode, any attempt to use this menu (i.e., by using the ◄ ►
arrow keys), displays the following message:

THIS UNIT IS CURRENTLY
IN REMOTE MODE!!

When in Local mode: Select Save or Load using the ST arrow keys. Press

ENTER

. The Save

and Load submenus permit storing or loading of up to 10 different modem configurations in the
non-volatile memory of the modem.

Using Loc 9: as the example, if Save is selected and no configuration has been saved, the second
line reads ‘Empty’, as shown in the preceding example.
However, if the selected Loc: 9 already contains data, what displays is similar to the next example:

The time and date stamp of the previously stored configuration is displayed for identification
purposes.

Select the location to where the current configuration is to be stored, using the ST arrow keys,
then press

ENTER

. Locations 1 through 10 are available.
