Options when using “Ignore communication errors and continue operation"

When "Ignore communication errors and continue operation" is enabled, several options become available. This section
describes what these optional settings do.

Settings

Action when MICRO/I or Touch fails to connect to the external device

Display error message

Enable

An error message is displayed, but operation continues(Host communication error or
communication error ). The error message does not automatically close even if the
connection with the external device recovers. To close the error message, press the
Ack (acknowledge) button that is displayed on the error message itself.

Disable

No error message is displayed (Host communication error or communication error ),
and operation continues.

Auto retry

Enable

MICRO/I or Touch automatically tries to reconnect if a communication error occurs.

Disable

MICRO/I or Touch does not try to reconnect if a communication error occurs.In this
case, the bit 1 (connection settings) of the device set in "Individually monitor error
information for each Station No." automatically turns to 0.
