This function sets up reasonable integration pa-
rameters in the following way (assumes that
several peaks are marked manually in the peak
editor mode (see section 4.5.4) and wrong
peaks deleted):
−
Slope
is set to 3.
−
Asymmetry
is set to 1.5.
−
Width
and
Broadening
are calculated by fitting
a straight line through the measured peak
halfwidth values vs. retention time.
Width
is
determined as the y value of this line at the
Delay
time,
Broadening
is calculated as the y
value at the end of the chromatogram di-
vided by the y value at the
Delay
time. If this
procedure does not provide adequate result,
−
Width
is set equal to the minimum value of
peak width for the chromatogram,
−
Broadening
is set to 1.

Events
of
Integration parameters
window for definition of integration
events. Integration events have a higher priority than integration pa-
rameters and are used for fine tuning of the integration process. They
should be used only in the case when problems cannot be solved by
tuning a set of parameters from the integration parameters window.
