 Word: Selects the separate words of text to be affected by the values set in the
applied parameters.
 Line: Selects the separate line of text to be affected by the values set in the applied
parameters.
 All: Selects all characters of text to be affected by the values set in the applied
parameters.
 Custom: Allows you to offset the start and end points of the selection (based on the
location of the selection).
Spread: Controls the amount of falloff of the selection. To create a softer transition
between each character, increase the Spread value.
When Select is set to Custom, the
Start and End parameters become
available.
