7 – Troubleshooting

Tube not found

1. Record the error message on the LCD display
2. Create a support file (Ref. page 2-8)
3. Open the lid and visually check for the sample tube

a. If the sample tube is present, rotate it 180 degrees and

rescan the tube

b. If the sample tube is not present, contact Technical Support

for assistance

High exhaust temperature

1. Record the error message on the LCD display
2. Record when during the cycle the system error occurred
3. Create a support file (Ref. page 2-8)
4. Check

a. The setup of the device and confirm clearance envelope is

2.0 in. clearance minimum on each side of the unit

b. There are no obstructions in the exhaust port on the

bottom of the analyzer

5. Ensure

a. The analyzer is not running in corner or under an

overhead cabinet

b. The analyzer is not being operated outside of the

environmental specifications (Ref. page 2-3)

6. Turn the analyzer off. Wait 1 minute, and then turn it back on
7. If the problem persists contact Technical Support

Unreadable RBC / Grans interface (I3)

1. Record the error message on the LCD display
2. Create a support file (Ref. page 2-8)
3. Open the lid, rotate the sample 180 degrees and reinsert it

into rotor

4. Close the lid and rescan the sample
5. If the problem persists, draw a new sample and retest
6. If the problem persists after retest, create a new support file

and contact Technical Support

1. Record the error message on the LCD display
2. Create a support file (Ref. page 2-8)
3. Open the lid, rotate the sample 180 degrees and reinsert it

into rotor

4. Close the lid and rescan the sample

6. If the problem persists after retest, create a new support file
