4.

Press [ENTER/YES] to start receiving data. A message displaying “WAITING...” shows
up in the menu.

5.

Initiate the data send from the sending device.

6.

A counter will display how many messages have been received, and, if you have a bad
transmission, how many erroneous messages that have been received and ignored.

Received data will overwrite any previous data in the memory in the positions
where it is placed. Make sure you have backed up any important data using
SYSEX send.

Receiving SYSEX data may take a while, depending on the amount of the transmit-
ted data.

Monomachine only accepts SYSEX data dumps while SYSEX receive is selected
and “WAITING...” is displayed on screen.

Use the TM-1 MIDI interface available from Elektron for up to 10x the normal MIDI
transfer speed.

DIGIPRO MANAGER (MKII UNITS ONLY)
This menu is used to send, receive, erase and rename waveforms. A set of 64 factory
waveforms comes preinstalled, but they are replaceable by user waveforms.

When you want to upload your own waveforms there are a couple of things you need to
know that will make it easier to obtain musical results. The bitrate and frequency of the
audio file you want to use don’t matter, the important thing is that you extract one period
from it. After extracting one period, you then need to convert the audio file to a DigiPRO syx
file. For this task you can for example use our free C6 program, which is found in the sup-
port section of the Elektron homepage. Supported formats are wav and aiff. Waveforms are
sent and received via MIDI.
