Description

Field

Each MST bridge port that is enabled is assigned a port role for each
spanning tree. The port role is one of the following: Root, Designated,
Alternate, Backup, Master, or Disabled.

Port Role

The root bridge for the CST, which is created from the bridge priority and
the base MAC address of the bridge

Designated Root

The path cost offered to the LAN by the designated port

Designated Cost

The bridge identifier of the bridge with the designated port. This identifier
is created from the bridge priority and the base MAC address of the
bridge.

Designated Bridge

The port identifier on the designated bridge that offers the lowest cost
to the LAN. This identifier is created from the port priority and the interface
number of the port.

Designated Port

Indicates if the topology change acknowledgement flag is set for the next
BPDU to be transmitted on the port (True or False)

Topology Change Acknowledge

Indicates if the port is enabled as an edge port

Edge port

The point-to-point status, which indicates is the port’s link is a
point-to-point link (True) or not or (False)

Point-to-Point MAC

The bridge identifier of the CST regional root. This identifier is created
from the bridge priority and the base MAC address of the bridge.

CST Regional Root

The path cost to the CST regional root

CST Path Cost

The the time the counters were last cleared

Port Up Time Since Counters Last
Cleared

Indicates if the interface is in a loop-inconsistent state (False or True)

Loop Inconsistent State

The number of times the interface transitioned into the loop-inconsistent
state

Transitions Into Loop Inconsistent
State

The number of times the interface transitioned out of the loop-inconsistent
state

Transitions Out Of Loop
Inconsistent State
