The User Management page displays.

6. If you change the settings for an existing user account, select the check box for the

user account.

You cannot change the name of an existing user account.

7. If you are adding a new user account, In the User Name field, enter a name.

You can enter a user name only when you are creating an account. User names are
up to 64 characters in length and are not case-sensitive. Valid characters include all
the alphanumeric characters as well as the hyphen (-) and underscore (_) characters.
The user name default is not valid. User names once created cannot be changed or
modified.

8. From the Edit Password menu, select Enable.

By default, the selection is Disable. Enable this option only if you are defining or
changing the password options.

9. In the Password field, enter the password for the account.

The characters do not display as they are typed; only asterisks (*) show. Passwords
are up to eight alphanumeric characters in length, and are case-sensitive.

10. In the Confirm Password field, enter the password again, to confirm that you entered

it correctly.

This field does not display the password as it is typed, but shows asterisks (*).

11. From the Access Mode menu, select Read_Write or Read_Only.

12. From the Encryption Type menu, select the encryption strength:

SHA256: A secure hash algorithm that is compatible with many devices.

SHA512: A secure hash algorithm that is superior to SHA256. This is the default
type.

13. Form the Multifactor Authentication Mode menu, select to enable or disable

multifactor authentication:

Disable: Multifactor authentication is disabled. This is the default selection.

Enable: Multifactor authentication is enabled and an authentication email is sent
to the email address that you must enter in the Multifactor Authentication Email
Information
field.

14. Do one of the following:

If you are adding a new user account, click the Add button.

Your settings are saved. The user account is added.

If you are changing the settings for a user account, click the Apply button.

Your settings are saved.

15. To save the settings to the running configuration, click the Save icon.
