5.2. Assigning Fade Times

All cues in the Cue Stack can be assigned fade-in, fade-out, and delay times.

Fade-in time reflects the time to finish a complete crossfade from Now to Next.
It is no longer tied to the fade-out time of the previous cue, as in the LP-1500.

Fade-out time for the cue is the time to complete a crossfade from Next to
gone.

Delay time is the total time of the cue, including the fade-in time but excluding
the fade-out time. For instance, a cue with a fade-in of 2 seconds, a fade out of
4 seconds, and a delay of 10 seconds will fade-in for 2 seconds, remain on for
(10 - 2 =) 8 seconds, and fade-out for 4 seconds. Timed fades are initiated by
pressing the green “Go” button.
