Rotate the data wheel to the right until the Insert screen is shown:

CUE Insert
12.1 W/REC

The LP1600 automatically chooses the next available number for the inserted
cue, in this case, 12.1. If so desired, the user can alter this number to allow
room for more cues to be inserted later. To do this, hold down the Modify
button and rotate the data wheel. The Cue number will change to show all
possible cue numbers that could be selected, 12.1 through 12.9.

Once the new cue number is set, pressing the Record button will create a new
cue at location 12.1, and copy into it the current stage look. The display will
indicate the new cue with the display:

CUE Insert
12.2 W/REC

After about 5 seconds, the display will revert back to the Insert display, which
now shows the next possible insertion cue:

Pressing the Record button again will insert an additional cue, in this case
12.2, at the cue number shown. This may be repeated until all 9 point cues
have been inserted.

Rotating the data wheel back to the beginning screen, or pressing the Stack
menu button will show the new cue:

Now 12 Time
Nxt 12.1 0:00

The LP1600 can only insert 9 point cues between two consecutive cues. If no
space exists to create and insert a new point cue, the LP1600 will announce
the fact:

Cannot insert
