The line number will increment up to 1152, indicating the progress of the save.
7.3. Software Upgrades
As LP-1600 features are enhanced and bugs fixed, CAE will make software
upgrades available, usually free of charge. Check the CAE web site at
www.caeinc.com or customer service at 810-231-9373 for information on the
latest release. In order to install the upgrade, perform the following procedure:

It is recommended that you perform a Show Save before performing the
upgrade procedure. See the appropriate section in this manual before
proceeding with the upgrade.

Copy the upgrade files to the startup disk originally supplied with the
LP1600. If you can’t find it, contact CAE for a replacement.
•
Perform a special LP-1600 “boot from disk”. For normal operation, the
LP1600 is powered up with no disk in the floppy drive. To boot from disk,
install the upgrade disk in the floppy drive first, then power-up the unit
while pressing the MODIFY button. The LCD display will show:
