The Video Recording Menu: Video Recording Options
Select [
ON
] to reduce microphone gain and prevent audio distortion
when recording videos in loud environments.
Choose the range of frequencies to which built-in and external
microphones respond.
Select [
ON
] to enable the low-cut filter, reducing noise produced by
wind blowing over the built-in microphone. Note that other sounds
may also be affected.
Selecting [
ON
] for [
Wind noise reduction
] has no effect on optional
stereo microphones. Wind-noise reduction for optional stereo
microphones that support this feature can be enabled or disabled using
microphone controls.
