Maintenance Recommendations

The touchscreen indicates most maintenance situations such as low toner, image
drums requiring replacement, etc. However, you can also perform routine
maintenance tasks to improve the performance of the Vivo! Touch.

End-of-Roll Tasks

You should perform the following tasks after each roll of labels:

Inspect the feeder rollers and media exit bracket for excess adhesive and clean if
necessary.

Every 6 - 8 Hours of Printing or as Needed

You should perform the following tasks after every 6 - 8 hours of printing or as needed:

Clean the LED arrays with a pre-moistened alcohol cloth.

Clean adhesive from the cutter slot.

Inspect the image belt and fuser for excess adhesive and clean if necessary.

Vacuum the interior of the printer with the QuickVac.

Inspect the image belt for wrinkles and creases.

Clean electrical contacts

Vacuum the feeder unwind area with the QuickVac.
