AI REM Analogue Input Module.

The AI REM (Figure 3-12) is

powered by 24Vac

±

10% at 4VA maximum. It provides for six analogue inputs from field

equipment. Each analogue input circuit has a socket for fitting an AISC, which defines the
input type and range selection. Installing the AISCs is part of the commissioning process

and is explained in Section 4.

The RS485 Comms connection block is in the upper right section of the module and the
End of Cable Jumper is next to it.

Analogue input terminals for the AI REM are listed in Table 3-12. Analogue input cables
should be run using twisted pair, shielded cable. The screens are to be connected to either
of the two terminals marked SCREEN.
