Chapter Twelve

Creating New Labels

LP-3000 Users Manual

5.

If necessary, change the instrument selection so that only one type of
instrument is selected.

You can only display attributes for one type of instrument at a time.
Therefore, it is important not to attempt to create a label for two or more
different instrument types.

6.

If there are more than three attributes that control the property, using the
Attribute Select edgewheel, select the group of attributes that the remaining
edgewheels will control.

With Attribute Select set to 0, the edgewheels control the first three
attributes; with Attribute Select set to 1, the edgewheels control the second,
third and fourth attributes; and so forth.

7.

Using the edgewheels, select the attribute value for each attribute.

Values range from 0 to 256.

For most attributes, you can select the option No Change. This means that
the cue will not change the previous setting for the property. To select No
Change
, set the attribute to its highest possible value.

8.

To aid you in making your selection, press and hold the edgewheel’s
Selector button to activate the Snap To function. Then use the edgewheel
to snap from label to label for the instrument.

This is a method by which you can rapidly move from pre-defined label to
pre-defined label rather than working your way through the full range of
DMX values.
